Everything about "AADI"..

• What is "Aadi - Handmade Love"?

"Aadi - Handmade Love" is a line of unique handmade jewelry, gifts and other art related products, all of which can be customized to fit our client's expectations.

So until now we have made simple yet statement jewelry pieces, resin components such as pendants & key chains, paper flowers and literally lots of crochet items!

• How did it start?

About two years ago (August 2016 to be precise) whilst surfing on YouTube, i came across a few jewelry making tutorials and instantly something like a box just flipped open in my mind revealing all these amazing designs and ideas and i knew that i couldn't just ignore them. So i went to the craft store and got myself some basic supplies and i made my first piece of jewelry - a simple pearl bracelet! Completely fascinated by this art, i soon got more supplies & started making more designs, i would note down my ideas, looked out for more tutorials and blogs for new techniques & what materials i should use & what mistakes i should avoid & what not!!

Now, when this jewelry madness started, i was actually a lot into baking. Me and Veena (Sister/ally) had started a little home based bakery, meaning we used to take orders for cakes, cupcakes, cookies & chocolates etc. In April 2016 , we decided that we wanted to put up a stall with a few of our items in a "Mid Summer" pop up bazaar; and it went great! Hence, we decided that will continue doing it; a little did i know that i would find something that i am so passionate about other that baking!

So as decided, we did take a stall at the next summer pop up (in April 2017), not just with the desserts but also displaying a complete range of products that i created and the line was named "AADI - Handmade Love"!

29th April 2017

On 29th & 30th April 2017 at this pop up bazaar hosted by Popsicle inc. is where "Aadi" was introduced! P.S.: I had packaging ideas and made the little brown templates but i had no idea at all about how i'll be displaying them and ended up just spreading them out on the table!

Since then, we have taken part in 3 other pop ups & exhibitions..

This was at the last pop up i attended held on 26th november 2017 by Popsicle inc. again; and you can see, the display of the products is way much better! And that's my sweet little nephew AKA my little ally if you will, whose name btw is Adi (short for Adinath & No the brand isn't named after him!).

I had to take two long breaks in between, one of which just ended a few weeks ago (it was also the time where i thought that i'd just give up doing all of this). And now when finally i have pretty much everything sorted out, i have decided to do what i have been thinking of doing for a long time and that is - letting the world know what i know, what i do & how i do, getting opinions from people around me, giving opinions to people around me - basically just voicing my brain out!
